You've tried them all, hair oil after hair oil hoping for the miracle to get rid of your frizzy hair. We've been there too. With fine, frizzy hair, finding an oil that smooths and leaves hair frizz free has been challenging. We've heard from prominent hair dressers, a little goes a long way....but not far enough. Too little doesn't remove the frizz and too much leaves our fine hair burdened with oil. And then it came to us almost by accident - our eureka moment, if you will.
One evening, after a sweat-filled workout, we washed our hair, applied oil to it - a few table spoons and let it dry naturally before going to bed. The next morning we washed and conditioned our hair, as normal, what we noticed was that our hair was softer, our ends were not crusty and the frizz was gone. We didn't put two and two together until we went through this two step process again, washed hair the night before, added oil and then washed, as normal in the morning.
Of course we wanted to be sure that it was not a fluke and took our testing to the next level. Next was to try different oils and on days when the humidity was high, 70% or higher. Some oils worked better than others but the overall effect was the same = frizz was gone. And yes, it worked, time and time again. So yes, even those with fine hair can use hair oils, we just have to use it differently.
